CONCERTS:

CHAMBER ORCHESTRA

It takes just a concert of chamber orchestra in one of the oldest churches in Kraków to be transported directly into the Musical Heaven. The auditory feast awaits any starved connoisseur of classical music on the odd-numbered days of the month, in St. Adalbert’s Church on the Main Square. Its Baroque dome allows for excellent acoustics, overall creating an exceptional, intimate atmosphere.

KLEZMER MUSIC

Although it originates in the tradition of the Ashkenazi Jews of Southeastern Europe, the genre was mostly influenced by Romanian, Greek, Ukrainian, Polish, and Turkish music. The repertoire consists of instrumental pieces, connected with the folklore of Reform Judaism, and of songs performed in Yiddish, belonging to the tradition of Orthodox Judaism.

CHOPIN MUSIC CONCERTS

To any Chopin aficionado, concerts of the piano master’s musical works present themselves as a real treat. Pieces from the oeuvre of the legendary composer, renowned both in Poland and worldwide, are performed regularly all year round. The events take place in the unique Renaissance Hall of the Bonerowski Palace and in the period rooms of the Chopin Concert Hall.
